Hi,

I’m Leah Poulliot.

My last name is unpronounceable.

Just call me LP.

Writer.

Leah Poulliot is a business school dropout turned television writer previously staffed on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. She got her start interning at Vendetta Productions and worked in post on their pilot, Controversy. She made the leap into writing shortly thereafter, climbing the assistant ladder to staff writer by 2021. She’s been fortunate enough to produce three of her episodes on set, pandemic be damned. Her episode “Bored On Board Onboard” was featured in Entertainment Weekly’s article The 30 best episodes of television.

Genre Brat.

Leah developed a love for sci-fi and supernatural at a young age and carried her knowledge over to her first job ever – a videogame pawn shop called Cool Stuff. (She’d like to believe that made her cool too, but the verdict is still out.) She’s often felt like an outcast but has found solace in nerdy communities. That’s why she focuses on stories about complex misfits, found families and fishes out of water.

Carnivorous Plant Collector.

In her spare time, Leah can be found talking to her dramatic chihuahua, cultivating her carnivorous plant collection, hosting divisive board game nights or learning about wine and coffee. Lastly, she knows her name is impossible to pronounce, so to save you the trouble it’s Pole-Lee-Aught.
